How much for FA's

Yeah, I don't know why anyone would be a FA at a regional. Even at Southwest they start out at like $10 an hour or something crazy.

Dont think any pilots are any better. There starting pay is 18 bucks an hour on average.

About 75-80% of FO pay on average? Although, they don't get the nice second year bump that pilots get at *most* regionals. To reach the top end of most payscales you're looking at more than 10 years of seniority.

Comair *
Starting pay: $16.50 hr.
Senior pay: $42.26 hr.
American Eagle
(flies for American Airlines)
Starting pay: $17.67 hr.
Senior pay: $31.00 hr.
ASA *
Starting pay: $15.65 hr.
Senior pay: $32.00 hr.
Chautauqua *
Starting pay: $16.00 hr.
Senior pay: $30.25 hr.
ExpressJet
(flies for Continental Airlines)
Starting pay: $17.11 hr.
Senior pay: $31.00 hr.
SkyWest *
Starting pay: $17.50 hr.
Senior pay: $37.07 hr.
* Members of the Delta Connection regional network

Remember to indicate that's per *flight hour* and not for an 8-hour day.

Generally, when the engine is off, the plane is loaded and the door is open and you're sitting around on a weather delay, the clock isn't running.

$18 an hour is a whole lot better than $10 an hour.:)

Not that this is good comp by any stretch of the imagination, but it's 80 percent higher!

True. Still unbelievable!

I remember reading that southwest started FAs around $10 or $12 an hour but I guess it depends on how far you fly.

From their website:

Pay:

1st 6 Months - $17.78/Trip*
2nd 6 Months - $18.03/Trip*
2nd Year - $21.73/Trip*
*one trip = 243 miles

All pay rates are contingent upon current contracts.
