how much an hour was your flight training

When I first started in 01 in Orlando, I think it was around $89/hr for a 172N wet. When I finished in 2005 in GKY, It was about $79 an older 172, and the Seminole was in the $160(?) area. The SPs and the Arrow were right at $90-100/hr.

Lets see here i belive for an hour it is $131 including ground instruction and fuel, thats this year for my private and the plane is a Cherokee 140.

When I got my private it was $49/hr for a C152 and 22 for the instructor. Since I worked the line I got the plane for $44 and these prices are wet. A 172 I was paying $79 for an 85 172. The 01 172 was $89/hr... They have since gone up

Started in '03, Warriors were about $80 something an hour, they're now $103 an hour.

Bonanzas are $173 an hour I believe, and the Barons go for $280ish.

$70 wet for C-172
$150 wet for a PA-30 Twin Comanche
$30 hr for instruction.

I paid about $30,000 for everything zero through MEI. Those rates above are still current also.

35/hour wet for 152
20 for an instructor ---- 2000

75 an hour for 2002 172's in 2002
85 an hour for 182rg's

160 an hour for a 310R 2003

I have absolutely no idea what I paid per hour. It's been over 5 years now!

But, I do remember that total price for my PPL was about $5200, or something like that, in late fall 2001. Mom & Pop FBO at JVL where my dad was the DOM at the time.

Wow those prices looks pretty cheap compared to what I am paying now.

$100 hr Cessna 152
$130 hr Cessna 172 wet
$145 hr Cessna RG wet
$220 hr Be-76 wet
$76 hr Sim (dual only)

I know. Even ERAU, when I was there, was $50/hr for a 172Q and $120/hr for a PA-44.

I pay just about that much too (plus ground school) those rates are normal... notice alot of people are talking about 2 years ago and such... few are just around those prices too...

I pay 104 plus ground (35)

In my Private Pilot days, $36/hour for a 150, $38/hour for a 152, and I think it was $12/hour for my trusty foreign CFI's Magnus and Gopi . . . :p

This was at KOAJ.

You'll notice that in addition to time, geography has a bit to do with prices. I was paying essentially the same in Texas two years later that I was paying in Orlando, and that was after prices increases. If I had stayed in Orlando to train, it woulda been about $30/hr more.
