I found a picture on the net of N48823 which is a C-152 that is owned by the FBO at my home airport, KPCM. The plane has quite an interesting story. One day my instructor, who is in his 70's, was giving dual to a student. They were on final approach to land and at about 200ftagl, then it happened. Another plane, a PA-28, piloted by a 19 yr. old an a solo cross country landed on top of the 152 and the two became stuck together. My instructor told me that the nose wheel of the Cherokee was sitting on the dash of the 152, it has come right through the plexiglass and was just inches in front of them. Somehow he managed to salvage the approach and landed with the Cherokee still stuck on top of them. The picture can be found at the bottom of this page, it is the second one from the bottom. I will try to find the NTSB report and will post it if I do. And that my firneds, is how little airplanes come to be.
