Could someone tell me how the 90 day program would work if you already have your PRV/INSTR ratings? Is it cheaper? Etc.... Thanks!!! John

I am not 110% sure but from what I remember from asking the same thing about 2 yrs ago is that you dont have to worry about the instrument checkride but will have to get the multi part obviously. From what I remember I was told there is not price difference since the checkride cost are additonal cost anyway. In my case I had already satisfied the requirments for CSEL also but I was told I had to get the multi time still. I may have changed because mine was 2 years ago.

is your private just single engine or multi and single?

if you've got a private single + instrument, your first checkride will be a the private multi w/ a single engine instrument approach, and anything else you need to do to get instrument privledges in the multi.

If you have a private multi+single w/ instrument, i imagine you'll get a bunch of dual, your insurance ride and then go on your XC's and your first checkride would be the commercial multi.

wont be any cheaper, as the cost of the checkrides are not included in the price of the course, and you'll be getting the same amount of hours whether or not you need the checkrides.

Your first multiengine checkride will also include a single-engine instrument approach, under the hood. The time normally allocated for instrument training will be used to build proficiency, but the program cost does not change. You do have one less checkide to pay for, however.
