You're really into lounges as of late aren't you? But when I worked for DL as a ramp agent in CVG I'd frequently go to the pilot lounge in concourse A.

It's a big room with a t.v. and maybe ten soft (smelly) black leather sofas! That is the CVG lounge. Never been in the SLC lounge but probably much of the same!

Crew room picture. This isn't out "nice" crew room but rather the one down by the gates. They served a turkey there today (pretty tasty actually).

Well, there's a boys side (pilots) and usually a girl's side (FA's).

Here in SLC, there's a big ol' projection television, black leather lazy-boys, four rows of computers, a few tables w/chairs, lockers, bag racks, free WEP-secured WiFi (woo!), a chart room with mailboxes and various nitnoid pilot thingies, two cipher-lock commuter rooms where you can store your uniform, a couple bulletin boards, vending machines and two restroom areas. Keurig coffee machine in the corner, a chief pilots office and a half-eaten thanksgiving spread.

Most of the lounges are pretty sweet, but the one in Hooterville could use some disinfecting.

I was just introduced to Skyway's on Wednesday. It's nothing special, lol. Reminds me of an FBO lounge that hasn't changed since 1974.

Do they let the Skyway folks sit on the couches now? Before the union drive at YX, there was a "whisper campaign" that we weren't allowed on the couches! :)

I always wondered, in addition to the couch/recliner and TV rooms....do you guys have nice bathroom/shower facilities and bunk rooms also ? I've always heard horror stories about guys crashin on couches, or continuous duty overnights....and I wondered why there werent actual living quarters for crew members at the airports. And again, by living quarters, I'm talkin kitchen, bathroom, showers, bunk room, day room, etc......much like we have at the fire dept.

More like CouCH, lol. I don't know how much has changed since you left, but Midwest is pretty much a separate hall.

They just opened up a bowling alley for us in the basement near our old baggage handling facilities! Check it out!

We have massage chairs, but that bowling alley sure is sweet. We'll have to ask for that in our next contract.
