Not METAR or TAF specific, but as a controller every Christmas Eve night I've worked I've seen Santa1's flight plan roll through. The best one I've seen had 2 strips worth of remarks detailing every reindeer. I put in one myself last year when one didn't come and this year put in his trial run with departure times for the next shift.

I used to file a pirep with a center controller on the last leg of the night with the remarks "negative reindeer". One year the CLT center controller put the whole thing in the system.
