I just got hired for my first CFI job today. I will be working at McAir Aviation here in Colorado. Check them out McAir

It's been a long time coming and I'm extremely happy. This is probably one of the best schools to work at in the nation based on Pay, Benefits, Aircraft, and lots of students, I even get my own office/desk. All the hard work finally paid off. I can't thank Jetcareers and it's members enough for the support, guidance, and help along the way.

I started flying in November 2003. Got my Private in October 2004. Went through the Airline Career Pilot Program at ATP over the summer of 2004 and here I am with my first job in aviation. It is possible and it has been the best experience of my life. Cheers.

Congradulations! I will probably hear you in the air. I fly out here at Greeley.

How is the student load over there? Ours seems to a little slow lately.

oops. i started flying in november 2002 and got my Private in october 2003. etc. etc.

student load is great. the way it works is when they hire an instructor they wont hire another instructor until everyone is satisfied with amount of students they currently have. so there is a potential to make some good money if you work alot. the school currently has about 430 students and about 180 active students that fly all the time.
 
Just checked out the website, sounds like a great school. Nice work bud

thanks. I just had my first two students last week. I'm having a hard time believing that this is my job, it doesn't even seem like work.
