Hey United, take your bag fee and.....

They were more convenient (times) for our flight out tomorrow, so although they were more expensive than SWA and we knew we'd have to pay for a bag to check (one each)...we bought United tickets.

So I go to check in online and it says I have to see a ticket agent at the airport. Wife checks in and pays for a bag no problem. I call in to find out "wahappen?". I guess I've got to go see a person at the airport tomorrow. But they won't let me check a bag for the online price since I can't check the bag online.

Oh, they'll gladly check two for the misses, or I can pay the "airport" price tomorrow. Both of which are, of course, more expensive than checking in online.

...plus, who knows where I'll be sitting. That will be a fun 6 hours sitting nowhere near the wifey.

What a CF.

We should have just gone earlier and saved a bunch of money with SWA.

United thrills me again!:mad::mad::mad:

If you talk to the agent at the gate tomorrow you may be able to get seats together. Or, at the very least, maybe talk to the people seated near both of you and see if there's someone who will swap seats.

That's frustrating. You can always try this...

Well, normally I'd probably be all for it but...

1) We're <24 hours out,
2) I don't even want to know what it would cost to buy another ticket at this point, and
3) I'm a dead man if I try to cancel this vacation. :rotfl:

The $2 difference ($20 at airport vs $18 online) is worth bitching about.......but not that much. :rotfl:

Oh thank god. For a minute there, I thought this was going to be a link to another cutesy but otherwise forgettable song by that guy who checked his guitar and then was shocked when it was broken.
