I'm gonna be flying in there this saturday, and I'm a little worried because I have only talked to Frog_Flyer about the procedures out there. You'd be scared too. :eek: lol

Anyway, gonna be out there saturday and I have some questions for minds who can help me. I'm fully aware of airnav and I know how to use my AFD, but I'd also like to get some info from those of you out there. *ahem*

1. Is there a recomended public use FBO?

2. Are there tie down fees?

3. Is there any chance of us being able to use a crew car for a couple hours?

4. If not is there a rental car place at the airport?

5. The tower is up now right?

And for craps and giggles the price of 100LL isn't cheaper than 3.95/gal. is it?

That's all I can think of right now, I appreciate the replies.

I would usually say, "YES YES, IS THERE STILL FREE BEER?????", but this is going to just be a flight up there, couple hours to watch a baseball game, then head on back to West Texas. So I'll be drinking water, and not a lot of it since we will prolly only make a fuel stop at ETN and I have the bladder of a 12 year old girl.:(

I'm actually considering not going to the game though and just chillin'...that Hooters pretty close? :)

West Texas...I once saw a movie about west Texas football and I heard that "their doin too much learning up there at that highschool."

I once saw a movie with several gay guys, and those guys screwed everyone they could get their hands on.

Why you gotta always be seein' the negative Max? I mention 2 words and all of a sudden you're bringing up a stupid movie that makes West Texans look like high school football obsessed idiots.

Or was that one of those Chris Farley moments..."So uh, Paul Mcartney...you remember when you were in the Beatles?"

Okay damn dude it was a joke. But hey at least I didn't call Texans uneducated slack jawed yokles. Beside everybody those are Kentuckyians...:sarcasm:
