Hey everyone! First of all I wanna say great website, its amazing how much positive information I have found about ATP here...

Well anyways, My name is Mike Palazzo, and I have decided that I will be going forward with ATP's 90 day program....Past month or so I've been researching flight academys (pan am, delta, com, flight etc...) I was soo close to going to Pan AM, and thank God I found out about ATP...Between the cost, multi time, professionalism and housing =) this program almost sounds to good to be true...

A little background on me, I am 20 years old from Connecticut...I am Private rated, and just about done with my instrument flying out of Sikorsky Memorial in Bridgeport CT, (KBDR) Any one local???

Tomorrow morning I will be calling up to "book" my interview. Unfortunately as a college student during Mid Terms I am more than buisy the next couple weeks so i wont be able to interview until 1st or 2nd weekend in November...What can I expect in the interview? From previous posts people comment on studying up on Left turning tendencies, Airspace, light gun signals, and a basic knowledge of your current airframe....What else would you suggest? To be honest I know im going to get a little worried about the interview when the time gets closer...

Unfortunately I have company arriving at my house very soon so I am going to cut this e-mail shorter than intended, but once again I just wanted to say hello to everyone, and I look forward to working with yall in the near future

respectfully,

Mike Palazzo

Hey,

I think we have couple locals in the house. I, myself, is from Norwalk and OXC is my field. I am still a private pilot and still undecide of where to go next. I have no suggestion for your interview but would be very helpful if you can share that with me.

Enjoy

Hey Mike, good to see you got on the board. Don't sweat the interview too much. It's pretty basic stuff.

Using my own experience as a guide here, I'd say no worries at all about the interview. It wasn't even really a pass/fail sorta thing, they just want to see that you're teachable. I got there, after a 5 hr 172 flight into a headwind with wicked turbulence and a fuel stop which caused me to be late, stressed out as could be, only to find it was really a non-event. Know all the basic stuff you should know anyways as a PP, and you'll have no problems.
