We are accepting resumes for multiple positions in support of USAF rotary wing training for new student pilots enrolled in the United States Air Force Air Education and Training Commands, Introductory Flight Training - Rotary (IFT-R) program.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Position(s) Available:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Academic Instructor</li> <li>Simulation Instructor</li> <li>Flight Instructor</li> <li>Flight Follower/Dispatcher</li> <li>Mechanic</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>The employee will conduct contact flight training and instrument familiarization in support of the USAF IFT-R program.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>In coordination with the HII IFT-R Program Manager, and the USAF, HII Instructor Pilots will be part of a full standardization and training program for the USAF program at the HII Training Center located in Fort Worth, Texas.</li> <li>Assures compliance with applicable standards (i.e., USAF, FAR, etc.).</li> <li>Participates in the HII Safety Management System and other quality assurance programs and procedures.</li> <li>Keeps current with changes and modifications to USAF IFT-R program procedures.</li> <li>Participates in identifying and implementing strategies for program safety and compliance.</li> <li>Assists with program standardization, evaluation, and maintenance of the tracking database, follow up on deficiencies, and reporting.</li> <li>Coordinates all activities across the program to ensure that adequate support is provided.</li> <li>Interfaces with appropriate members of the program, USAF, and HII staff to proactively identify and address safety and/or quality assurance issues and ensure that all safety and quality requirements are met.</li> <li>Interfaces with various departments, management, and staff to identify and execute process improvement opportunities.</li> <li>Conducts business in strict compliance with all corporate and applicable Government policies and procedures.</li> <li>Assists in the development of metrics to measure process performance levels and the impact of process improvements initiatives.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned (e.g., Safety of Flight Officer duties, etc.).</li> </ul>
