Headset Headache...Pocketbook Pain

Does anyone have suggestions as to where to get a good price on a headset? I am leaning towards a lightspeed. I also need other stuff too.

NOT Sportys...

Have you checked out the pilot shop at Lane at CMH? I don't know how good their prices are, but at least you can see the stuff before you buy it.

As far as headsets, I personally prefer David Clark.

marv golden. Or ebay.

marvgolden has their own brand of ANR for only 250 its is the same as a Lightspeed QFR.

Sportys gives you the shaft.

I myself am pretty sold on Peltor. Very comfortable! but the ANR model is $600.

Hey Athena,

PM me some of the "other" stuff you might need (besides the headset). I've got some stuff laying around that I would donate.

Just steal one from your flight school

J/K, I would go with ebay, I hear they also have great ticket holders, in-flight magazines, and safety cards. (From a previous thread)

yeah unfortunately THE Ohio State University flight school holds the fate of my flight training and my degree in its grubby little mitts. Now I smile and just hemorrage my money into their pockets while I eat ramen. Just the price I pay to do what I want. C'est la vie!

I too vote for Marv Golden , they are always really cheap.
