Heads Up New Hiring Wave coming.

This is what i got in email today.
The Air Traffic Selection Panel is tentatively scheduled to meet in August or September to make tentative hiring selections. With this in mind, you must have your application submitted by early August to ensure your name is added to the referral list. You will be placed on up to two referral lists, depending on your two geographical preferences. If you are not selected for hire from the next panel, you will need to re-apply to the announcement posted in October (the start of the new fiscal year)".

If selected for hire from the CTI announcement-

The length of your academy training is dependant upon the air traffic option you are selected for:

En Route
AT Basic 25 work days
Initial En Route Training 62 work days*
87 Total Work Days

Terminal
AT Basic 25 work days
Initial Tower Cab 37 work days*
64 Total Work Days
Good luck for those who are still seeking to get hired:)

I guess I don't really get what you mean "new hiring wave". This is the same announcement that is already open, they just told you when the panels are going to meet.

or did I miss something?

If you applied for a pubnat you can expect to get Invitation letter after september.:)
Just a small hint so that people are aware of the time frame.

Thanks for the info man. That's about what I had in my head from all the rumors, it seems like August/September is when the next batch of things will shake down. I'm jealous of your S46 selection! My buddy works up there and also went through GRCC. I just got into my 2nd year of classes there but I'd rather be picked up before I finish :P Maybe I'll see you up there one of these days!

I don't know what are the odds for pubnat7 people, i guess if they get lucky to take the At-SaT before september then there is a chance, but mostly i think pubnat6 and 5 people will get picked up this September.:)

I see, i took the at-sat on the 12th of this month. Was just curious about the chances of us getting noticed in this one or not :) Thanks for the reply

If you take the anti-derivative of the average age of each applicant's mother's best friend's dog, you'll get the likelihood of being picked up :D

Pubnat7 folks are testing this week in Chicago (Lisle). I tested Monday and turn 31 the beginning of December. Hopefully I'll make it in time!:dunno:

It'll be close, that's for sure. I think you have to get your TOL BEFORE you turn 31, or is it your FOL? Anyways.. I took my AT-SAT on December 12th and got my TOL on June 23, 6 months later for the most part. So if you do get your TOL in December you should feel like a million bucks.

Or at least $17,500... plus $80/day ;)

The date you receive your TOL freezes age.

What's up guys? I'm new to the site. I got my score back today and made a 99. It feels good to have a high score but I still don't know if that will be enough. I turn 31 in April. I think that gives me enough time, but I was just told there will be a vote to stop hiring OTS. I heard the vote would be on July 29th. Has anyone else heard this info? And if this is true, what are the details? Will they still except OTS if we have already taken the AT-SAT? Any info would help. Thanks guys.

I don't think they'd be testing Pubnat7 then... What would be the point?
It might be about the future Pubnats... Now, the pool of CTIs might not be enough to cover all that are about to retire in the next 2-4 years...
