PlaneSmart! Aviation Addison, Texas:<BR /><div>PlaneSmart! Aviation is hiring a Corporate Aircraft Scheduler for our managed aircraft charter certificate and owner flights. This position will be directly responsible for the safe, efficient and professional operation of charter flights consisting of light - midsize jets and turbo props. The Corporate Aircraft Scheduler will assist with organizing, planning and overseeing of all company aircraft scheduling, charter wholesale quoting and flight planning to include supplemental lift operators. Ensure compliance with FAR’s and ICAO flight standards as well as company Flight Operations Manual and SMS procedures for each flight. Communicate with Executives, flight crews, FBO’s, in addition to third-party providers on the most recent schedules and servicing needs.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong> This position will report to the Director of Operations and will work closely with the Charter Sales Director, corporate flight crews insuring executive travel requests are met in a safe and expedient manner. Some duties include, but are not limited to the following:</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Primary Responsibilities:</div><div><ul><li>Scheduling travel for wholesale, retail customers on managed corporate aircraft or considering other lift alternatives to include ground transport, meeting rooms, hotel catering</li><li>Knowing company aircraft performance company policy manuals so that appropriate recommendations are given to traveling customers while complying with company established guidelines</li><li>Providing flight crew with updated flight plan and weather information to include flight plan filing, trip briefing, fuel alternatives, pricing and route briefings</li><li>Knowledge of complex computer software related to flight dispatching and logistic support</li><li>Maintaining and updating aircraft and crew schedules</li><li>Obtaining for both passengers and flight crews and aircraft necessary permits or visas when flying into and out of foreign countries</li><li>Maintaining department records, including flight manifests, maintenance, insurance, and personnel records, to insure accurate reporting, currency, accounting, ETS, SMS, and tax issues</li><li>Coordinating with outside aircraft services handler for International flights as required</li><li>Maintaining an inventory of current publications, charts and related materials for flight crew</li><li>Preparing trip sheet, flight logs, and SMS reporting for all flights</li><li>Coordinating aircraft handling and fueling with fixed based operators and securing contract fuel for International flights</li><li>Negotiating fuel, hotel, hangar and deciding discounts with fixed based operators</li><li>Coordinating use of charter or owner flights</li><li>Scheduling flight crew to insure compliance with company and FAA regulations regarding currency, flight and duty times</li><li>Ensure that aircraft schedules meet with any airport airspace restrictions (TFR, Noise, Curfew)</li><li>Knowing FAA regulations and Company Policy to remain in compliance with same in all operations</li><li>Maintaining a flight following system to ensure safety of flight</li><li>Coordinating scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on the scheduling software with Director of Maintenance</li><li>Determining security needs in conjunctions with Director of Aviation and Global Security and making necessary arrangements for all trips particularly foreign destinations</li><li>Obtaining ARO, TFR’S, Slots, parking and communicating changes to passengers and crew with changes needed in itinerary to accommodate restrictions</li><li>Interfacing with crew to advise of passenger needs or requirements to manage expectations (Dietary, Medical, Favorites)</li><li>Being an effective liaison between flight crew, passengers and vendors</li><li>Arranging catering in accordance with company and passenger requirements; maintains a data base for such</li><li>Remaining current on resources available and training opportunities to facilitate and effective scheduling operation&nbsp;</li><li>Secure commercial transportation for charter or owner clientele as required; complying with company travel policy, working with established vendor maintaining sensitivity to safety, security, efficiency, cost, flexibility of change, and negotiated contracts in place</li><li>Assists in maintaining aircraft charter hourly goals monthly by quoting wholesale operators and retail clients</li></ul></div><div>&nbsp;</div>
