We had our first ultrasound yesterday after having several imposed reshedules, and we found out that we're going to be having a girl.:nana2::) We were pretty shocked. All boys runs in my family and Winona is the only girl in a family with four brothers. We pretty much figured it the baby was going to be another boy to the point we already had a name picked out. Surprise..surprise! We had to ask "are you sure", just to hear it again. My 5 yrs old has told us the whole time that the baby was a girl!Back to the name game. We're sooooo stoked! I guess the third time is the charm!;)

Oooo... name her Pam. No reason, it's just a nice name! :p

No really, congratulations!!!! Girls are fun!

Congrats, H46!

You know what it means when your youngest of three is a girl, right?

Fast forward 17 years....

"Daddy?"

"Yes, pumpkin..."

"I want a BMW 335i convertible daddy..."

"Yes, pumpkin..."

:)

Yes, when you're teaching them handstands, but not when they think that "bedtime" means call mom and dad everytime they get to the bottom of the stairs because she dropped her teddy bear right next to her within reach. Man, I'm going CRAZY!:banghead:

Congrats to the both of you! :nana2: I have a feeling I will 'cursed' with all girls one of these days when the baby making starts :) :D

Like Dough, said my pocketbook will be empty 'cause I am big sap! Have fun with picking the new name!

I hear Emily is a really great name!! And with 2 older brothers, you guys better be nice to any gentleman suitors that come calling!

A girl... that's freaking awesome!

Why does it seem that 90% of the pilots I know have girls?? Must be some form of mutant radiation up there! ;)

Not complaining though... prepare your heart to melt.

Bob

Two boys and one girl! Sounds like your boys are outnumbered, better have 1 more boy to even the odds! :p

Thanks guys! Oh man, I'm going to have to buy a shotgun for when the boys come calling.:bandit: Bob, what kind of strategic planning have you done for when your girls get into their teens?:D I'm still shocked from yesterdays news.:insane::eek:

Patricia is a beautiful name -- not used too much anymore.
Oh, have fun with a little girl. I've got identical twin 13 year olds and I'm having such "fun" with them. :banghead:

Girls stay daddy's little girl until they turn 12 or 13 and morph into bizarre wacko teens that are impossible to deal with. Fortunate for me, my girls turned back into daddy's girls, albeit a bit bigger now. I always told my daughters to remember two things: One, boys are like buses - there will be another one along in about 15 minutes, so don't get hung up on any one boy too soon. And, I told them that if they ever brought home someone like me that I would kill them. I can still remember my mother-in-law's face as I came to pick up her daughter having shoulder length hair and driving a van with a mattress in the back.

Congratulations on a great family!

So, you were incorrigible back in the day?? :D :p ;)

BTW, glad to hear that girls eventually outgrow the bizarre wacko phase. I just hope I can survive it. Remember, I've got 2 at one time :panic: :panic:
