Ok, Discussion time....

For those guys that like to where baseball caps what do you think it states? If you were to lump all these guys into one what generally would you get? My take would be guys trying to do all they can to scream Im cool, laidback, and a Cowboy; But are none of the above...

I think it probably means the same thing as guys who wear sunglasses when they fly. I think they're saying...I'd really like to keep the sun out of my eyes.

No, Its serious. Im thinking more of airline, or multi crew airplanes. Just wanted to see how other people would sterotype it.

I pushed a plane one time and the captain was wearing one of those hats that have boobs on the brim. I looked up to show him the bypass pin and give the salute to see hat hooters.

Well I for one wear a baseball hat as necessary while I fly. I have one I got at an FBO. It is not a statement or a compensation for anything. I like to be able to tilt my head when the sun is low on the horizon, the shades don't cut it for me. Not really sure what you are looking for here, or why you are trying to make more of it than a simple preference.

I would wear a baseball hat in the cockpit for flying into the sun, but it would mess up my GQ regional-FO hair.
