It'll be 5 years tomorrow. We picked that date because it's my grandparents anniversary too. They got married in 1940. Alzhiemer's took my grandpa 3 years ago, but we get to have a happy reminder of him in sharing our anniversary.
We're home, we used to spend our anniversaries at the same lodge in the boundary waters where we went for our honeymoon. But, that was before the kids and before the paycuts. So, maybe we'll go back in a few years.
