Interesting to see how the runways change .... ORL, SFB, and MCO are all much different in terms of a runway layout. Is McDonald (Northwest of Orlando) now Orlando Country?

On the other hand Sanford was abadoned as a navy base on 68', (there's a note saying Abandoned Airport close to SANFORD NAVY, but I'm not sure if it's refering to Sanford or to a dot below that note)...
McCoy AFB closed on '74, so it's definitely 74 or earlier...
1) McDonald's field later became Bob White
2) Viet Nam was not a big deal yet
3) Nobody knew who Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby were yet
4) I was 4 yrs old
Okay, we're both wrong. That piqued my curiosity, so I did some research. Here's what I found:

Come to think of it, that was the last vacation we took where my father was walking. My parents took my sister and I there in June of 1972 for my sister's birthday.... I remember now that it was within the first year after the doors opened.
