Ground School in Iraq

Anyone knows if it is offered in any of the big bases? for example let's say...Balad
Might want to check out ERAU extension campuses. Seems like they (someone) had some classes back at Eskan village in 97 and 00.
Suerte y seas prudente alli.

I read an article in AOPA I think, that had a Marine teach private ground school at Al Asad. Perhaps it was sporty's or King's that sponsored the material.

I'm sure if you ask around the air wing there will be a CFI amongst the zoomies.

If you get bored enough (which will happen a lot) the self study course's are available.

I will check ERAU, but for the BA's. I heard that the Army will pay for online courses while deployed. I think ERAU will give me credit for my A&P.

Gracias por los buenos deseos :)

Thank you!

I just downloaded all the Aviation Maintenance handbooks from the FAA website, so I can read through them and try to keep my A&P mechanic knowledge fresh.

I also downloaded the Aviation Flying Handbook and The Pilot Aeronautical Knowledge Handbook.
I have access to Sporty's PPL online course, but I'm not sure if I will able to access the site from outside the U.S.

Finishing my PPL and a nice vacation will be my "self-gift" when I come back from deployment.
