You will also have access to our comprehensive benefits and competitive pay in addition to growth opportunities and excellent retirement options.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <p>Observes and reports airspace incursion by manned aircraft when UAS are flying in or around joint use airfields.</p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li><p>Makes periodic checks on buildings, grounds and equipment associated with UAS Flight Operations.</p> </li> <li><p>Monitors access to airspace and reports intrusion to Mission Commander. Monitors Air Traffic Control frequencies.</p> </li> <li><p>Participates in training activities.</p> </li> <li><p>Participates in special projects as required.</p> </li> <li><p>Maintains Inventory control of all items needed to perform Ground Observer duty. Reports shortfalls/deficiencies and orders replacement equipment through appropriate channels.</p> </li> <li><p>When not engaged in primary duties, performs authorized secondary duties per the Statement of Work.</p> </li> <li><p>Supports 24-hour flight operations and rotates shifts as necessary to provide support.</p> </li> <li><p>May support Downed Aircraft Recovery Teams.</p> </li> <li><p>Maintains currency in all mandatory training associated with all assigned duties.</p> </li> <li><p>May perform apprentice level support functions in areas where previous work experience meets/exceeds the Contract Performance Work Statement (e.g., Flight Line Support, Mission Support, Logistics, Tool Room or Administrative duties).</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li><p>Must obtain an FAA Class II Airmans Flight Physical prior to employment and maintain this requirement through employment.</p> </li> <li><p>Complete Government provided Observer training and maintain currency.</p> </li> <li><p>Valid state drivers license and complete and pass a military driving drivers certification course.</p> </li> <li><p>Must be able to work rotational shift work.</p> </li> <li><p>Must be a U.S. Citizen.</p> </li> <li><p>Should Executive Order 14042 be reinstated, proof of COVID-19 vaccination as defined by the order, or an approved accommodation will be required.</p> </li> <li><p>39-month clean MVR.</p> </li> <li><p>Pass drug screen.</p> </li> <li><p>Work rotating shifts</p> </li> <li><p>High School Graduate, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or work/military experience.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Background experience in Army Logistics (operate tool and stock room).</li> </ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer.
