As far as finding a job...first, be willing to move. I found my first job through Sheffield's job placement service, so definitely check that out. There are some other online aviation boards, I'm sure...just keep an eye out as to who is hiring and keep applying away.

Without experience it may take a while to get noticed but someone will call you for an interview soon enough if you keep at it. Good luck!

Congrats on getting you license. Good luck trying to find work. This is a really tough market right now. I can't even get work out of aviation at the moment. But I did check on Mesa's site, I think there looking for dispatchers once again. Check it out, the application takes forever though so have fun with that.

well i knew that. I think i might have a lead in on a spot with pinnacle in a few weeks. I have been in contact with them, and I have a good shot with them.

Yeah, that would be nice. I missed the cutoff for your training class though as I didnt leave sheffleld until last thursday, and there would have been no way I would have been able to make it to that class. I did talk to the recruiter at Pinnacle and he assured me that I could probably get into the next class. What was the interview process with Pinnacle like?
 
Indeed.com is a good job search engine as far as flight dispatching jobs hunting goes. Just type "flight dispatcher" or "aircraft dispatcher" into the search engine. It seems to produce more/better results than any other job search engine I used.
