So I was bored at work today, and was messing around on the net, when I found a government run military surplus auction site off of firstgov.gov. I found some of the catagories pretty interesting. Here's a sample:

All of the stuff is "demilled" (I think that is the right word). Meaning anything that can fire/blowup is safed in some way. Although I have heard stories of stuff slipping through the cracks, for the most part you are bidding on scrap. Not to say some good buys can't be had, but commercial auction houses tend to snatch up most of the good stuff in huge lots and then sell it off at market price.

Yeah, I was more pointing out the catagories for "nuclear weapons/warheads", and "space vehicles"

Not that they'd ever sell anything of that sort, I just thought it was funny that they had a catagory for it.
