Does Gout preclude me from getting a Medical? I just recently developed this very painful and annoying malady, and I'm very interested in knowing if it dashes my hopes of becoming a pilot.

Any and all inofrmation will be greatly appreciated.

Build up of uric acid due to various reasons. My father had gout in his toe which made it very painful to touch. Luckily there are pretty good measures to combat it.
