Got my 1000!!

Not that anyone cares, but got my 1000 hours yesterday!! :) Celebrated by doing some zero-g's!

Now I just need my 100 multi. (maybe I'll do a spin when that comes around ;))

Y'all remember when you hit four digits?

Congratulations!

I remember hitting the 1000 hour mark. I was in Alaska. I told everybody I knew nobody seemed half as jazzed as I was! :P

I know, its so weird! I'm grabbing strangers off the street and tellin' em, but they all look at me funny. I don't get it :p

I have 80 multi right now, so still a little work to be done. (don't worry folks, won't try any dem spins!)

BTW Doug you fly out of Falcon field much?
 
WOW 80 ME, you are only 20 ME short, almost there man, keep flying and you'd be in the airlines really soon! Are you instructing?

I'm a CFI/CFII. Working on the MEI, just haven't had the nice weather or time until recently. I'm gonna try to get my 20 by the end of May. (weather and funds permitting)

Been to Falcon field a couple times. I remember a nice little Italian restaurant at the end of the field. Pretty good eatin'. It still there?

Yup. Still there at the east side of the field.
 
From an old phart...Congratulations. The 1000 hour mark is right up there with first solo in terms of significant events in one aviation career.

The best one though is the last hour before you retire!

But again, Congrats!
