Today was ExpressJet's last flight, ASQ4001 from MEM to IAH. It's the end of 34 years for a company that so many were a part of, you will be missed!

Thank you Expressjet for providing 34 years of safe and reliable service. You were a great pilot group, professional, competent and a carrier I wouldn’t think twice about putting my family on. May you all find a door cracked open during these dark times....

Never got to fly for them, but they were always high up on my list as a regional. Great training, flying and instructors were always a huge sell for me, for the company.

I have no professional connection to Acey but flew on there Jungle Jets many times and usually received good service. I wish the best to there folks still there for the end.

They offered me an interview while I was sitting in basic Indoc at Eagle. Always wondered what would've happened if it would've happened in the reverse order.

Good luck to all affected.

I see a JC OG in that pic!

Yeah I thought so too, good guy.

I was lucky enough to get to operate flights under all four operations during my year and a half as a T-Bag: Continental Express, Delta Connection, ExpressJet brand, and corporate/charter.

Still the best groundschool I've had in three 121 carriers, but without being old school in a bad way about it either. Really learned the airplane.

Yeah, I recognized him too. First JC member I ever met. He and @Stone Cold hosted a little get together for prospective pilots. Me and another guy who doesn't post here anymore showed up with our respective S/Os. Really good experience. Had they not done that, I wouldn't have been posting here for the last 13 years or so.

So blame him. :)

Remember, I've been told by other, newer members, that I do nothing to help people around here. ;)

Glad you've stuck around. We need to do some more of those meet ups! And stop ruining my reputation as a "do nothing but complain around here" person.:biggrin:

It's funny, because I found my way here through the ATP website...and ultimately chose not to attend ATP. Probably should have. Wouldn't have stayed with that redhead nearly as long if I had....
