Golfers?

If I could get 9 holes of golf at the Callaway Golf Center on the strip in Las Vegas which would include:

Golf cart
Buck of balls (warmup)
Green fees
Rental clubs

All for $40/head, would this be something you guys would be interested in or would you want to spend significantly more at another course?

(Obviously, I'm not a golfer, which is why I'm asking you guys!)
 
I'm by far one of the worst golfers ever, but I would do this in a second as long as I get to drive the cart.
 
I mean, apparently it's not som über-plush course, but it's value priced.

I'm not sure if people could financially 'stomach' a TPC-quality course.

I'm about 5x over Par on a putt-putt course let alone a TPC-quality course. I think this will due.
 
$40 for 9 holes is pretty high for everywhere outside of Vegas. But with the other goodies thrown in, I'd say that's about as good a deal you will get for golf on the strip. Have fun.

Remember one thing....unlike bowling and shuffle board, golf is the exact opposite in which the more you :beer: the more you will suck and feel like :mad:.
 
Ok, how many of you that might want to play golf, would also be interested in the "Libs versus Cons" paintball civil "Book of Eli"-esque war? :)
 
If clubs are included, I think that would be fun. :) (I'm not dragging my clubs all the way to LAS.)

Depending on how much time (which days) I'll actually get to spend out there (how many days/nights can I pawn my kids off on assorted family members...). I'll put myself in as a definite maybe.
 
I mean we could stagger the events, one morning, one evening. One one day one the other, I just gotta know!

I'm not really a golfer and I'm more or less the "Dwight Schrute" of the paintball game because I bring a bayonet and tend to go all "Berserker" until the ref pulls me off. :)
 
I really like the idea of golf, but my only concern is how they'd split us up on the course. I just played a round of golf with 12 guys for a bachelor party, and they split us all into groups of four. We really didn't get to socialize with the guys in the other groups. It was still a blast, but we did feel a little limited. I figured for an event like NJC/ACE, we should try and keep the large group together, for the networking aspect of it.

Just my opinion. I'm down for either! The paintball idea jumped in my head because of the reason above, and because I know JTrain is going to get pummeled. :D
 
I'm telling you man, it's always the quiet guys from Fresno that get all medieval.
 
I vote for golf, easier to hold a beer and cigar at the same time in a golf cart.

Not hauling my clubs to LAS either, so club rental is a must.

As for how the teams get split up - 9 holes is about 2 hours in a cart. I would like to hope the ADHD crowd here is capable of getting along with anyone for that long on a golf course, but what do I know.
 
Hey guys...we need to know what day would be better to golf on....Saturday, Sunday or Tuesday?
