Going on a cruise!

We are leaving on a cruise to the Bahamas next week! Of course we can't afford it - we are a CFI family, but anything to escape this cold weather and to de-stress!! Hoping to check out some amphib's or float planes when we make a stop in Key West!! Will drink a toast to all of you!!

Cruise line is Holland America - a few years ago we went to Alaska on their cruise line and I'm hooked - only have to unpack one time!!! I've been wanting to see the islands and the blue water!!! GaTechKid where are you going and on what cruise line??
 
I LOVE HAL! We took them up to Alaska as well and had a blast! I love how they include tips in their price structure so that you always have great service!
 
One of my coworkers was talking about how she and her man walked up to a cruise ship terminal and said to the guy behind the counter "we'll take this cruise for a 100 bucks" they settled on 250 for a 7 day cruise in the bowels of the ship. But it may be worth a try for those with limited money sources
 
I am hopefully leaving out of MHT Thursday a.m., weather doesn't look to good, for two weeks in the Bahamas. I can't wait to get out of the crappy northeast weather.
 
Well, we are back - it was wonderful - especially enjoyed Half Moon Cay (Holland's private island) in the Bahamas-

To all you northeasterners, the sun is shining in some parts of the world!!! -

Also did some snorkeling w/ the rays -- on the way home (yesterday) we stopped at the Warner Robins Museum of Aviation in Georgia- very well done!
 
No doubt! This time of the year I'm normally laughing my butt off at the east coasters as I sit in the backyard with 70 degree temperatures on my balcony. But I'm noticeably silent this year about the weather. Ack!

We were supposed to stop in Cococay first, Royal Caribbean's Bahama island, but the weather didn't cooperate. Instead of Cococay they sent us to Puerto Rico -

On a related note, Miami International is a zoo.
