Dispatch at ATP = always wrong! And I cursed them every day
Dispatch at my current 135 gig = Always wrong!
It's just now the wx dosent stop me. I'd get a good instructor on your ifr training find some moderate precip to go thru. I'm not saying fly into a hail storm but at least you know what it's like. You don't know your limits on wx yet and you will get even more complacent during your time as a CFI (I did anyway). My flight partner and I got cought in an embeded thunderstorm on our way back for Alexandria, LA one day. It scared the poop out of me at that point in time but on a rough week flying freight in bad Oklahoma WX I'm glad I did it back then. Good luck to you!
