Gfk ils rwy 35l

Anyone know what is up with the ILS or how long it is going to be out for? I was taxing out yesterday for an IFR flight and planned on praticing a ILS approach. Ground told us to see if we could pick up the ILS when we got to the runway because they were getting an alarm on it. We could get the Glideslope but had a flag on the LOC and we couldn't ID the LOC we just heard all static. Now I see a NOTAM is out for "GFK 04/106 GFK NAV RWY 35L ILS LLZ OTS."

does it really take that much bandwidth to transmit?


Things get old man, they break. I'm sure it will only take a couple of NWA and FedEx flights not getting in for it to "get fixed".
