Responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which they are assigned. When assigned to a flight, has authority of the operation of the aircraft. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, local, and foreign regulations, as well as company policies and procedures specified in the company operations manual. Complies with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation. Acts as co-pilot of flights for which the pilot has been scheduled. Insures that pre-flight inspections are performed. Studies weather condition at destination, en-route, alternate airports, and departure points. Prepares, maintains, and corrects computerized flight plans. Ensures that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers. Reviews and calculates the aircraft’s weight and balance, fuel on board, and performance charts. Uses checklists. Makes decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel the flight as well as decisions to deviate the flight from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate. Assists with development of departmental policies and annual operating budget. Assists with assessment of aircraft cost studies. Assists with establishing departmental salary structure and minimum employment qualifications. Consults with Chief of Maintenance and Chief Pilot to schedule inspections and repairs. Compiles data from trips and submits monthly trip report to accounting.

# Minimum of 5 years experience as a co-pilot with at least 1500 hours of flying experience, including 500 hours in a multi-engine aircraft.
# Associates degree in business administration or appropriate technical training is preferred.
# Computer experience (including but not limited to DUATS, AFS, Flight Star, Lotus, etc) is a plus.
# Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic are required.
# Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
# Must posses current Commercial Pilot license and IFR certification.
# Must pass 2nd class physical examination annually.

Responsible for management of the Aviation department. Responsible for the safe conduct of flights. When assigned to a flight, has the final authority in the operation of the aircraft Ensure compliance with all federal , state, local and foreign regulations, as well as company policies and procedures specified in the company operations manual. Supervises all pilots, the Chief of Maintenance and Aviation Scheduler to ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the aircraft. Responsible for development of departmental policies and annual operating budget and assessments of aircraft cost studies. Acts as pilot in command of flights for which the pilot has been scheduled. Ensures that preflight inspections are performed. Studies weather conditions at destination, in route, alternate airports, and departure points. Prepares, maintain, and corrects computerized flight plans. Consults with Chief of Maintenance to schedule inspections and repairs. Compiles data from trips and submits monthly trip report to accounting.




# Minimum of 10 years flight experience with 5,000 hours of flying experience, including 2,000 Pilot in Command hours and 1,500 hours in a multi-engine turbine aircraft.
# Bachelors of Sciences degree in aviation or business administration or appropriate technical training is preferred.
# Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
# Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
# Proper certificates and authorization prior to assignment as Captain/Pilot in command of a flight.
# ATP type rated in 1125 Astra Jet.
# Must pass 1st class physical examination annually.
