Gap at the Gate

Not saying I agree with sensationalizing airport security or lack of security but I cleared TSA at CAE last week with a Boarding Pass that didn't match my driver's license. CAE is so laid back I didn't look at the boarding pass handed back to me. Walked right up to security, showed my Boarding Pass and ID, removed my shoes and went right through.

i was flying out of mco a couple weeks ago and somehow i managed to get onto the airplane and only showed my id when i checked in at the ticket counter. going through security they checked the people infront of me and behind me but never once did they ask for mine. sure it was packed in there but hey thats no excuse

That's normal for the ticket counter. They only check ID to make sure you are the person identified on the ticket/reservation. TSA SHOULD have checked your ID against the boarding pass, that's their job. MCO is more or less always packed, so that's not even close to a valid excuse.
