Found this on AOL today .I thought the maintainance quotes were pretty funny..although I think I have seen them all before. My favorite ATC quote is the one about losing the war.

Cessna 733 Bravo-Romeo cleared for landing on the big one......ummm 11L.

There was indeed a bit of a snicker on the radio. How embarassing. I need to quit saying Bravo-Romeo in that seductive tone of voice. Laughing at myself still.

I agree, pretty funny stuff on the radio sometimes.

I got to use the Fokker line. I think ATC threw it out there just so I could use it because he called traffic, which was above me and climbing, and didn't call traffic for the AA Fokker.

Are those even flying anymore?

You betcha ya!!!!!!!!!! Maybe not in the US anymore but there is a bunch of them flying for a Brazilian airline (TAM)
