Fun Outside Aviation (KFUL)

Has anyone heard of them in Southern California? THey are based out in Fullerton. My friend wants to get his PPL, and a couple guys in his ppl ground school class at AFI told him about it. THey seem to be happy there. Their rates are very reasonable. I havent heard anything about them, personally so I was hoping someone on this board has. I know there are a lot of shady flight schools out there and just trying to protect my friend.

if he wants to train in fullerton tell him to be careful for the kfi radio towers on approach. sad incident there about 2 years ago.

In my opnion it's a great school...very good experienced CFII's and they trully don't try to rip you off or hold you back..if you are good to take your checkride they will have no problem letting you go. Plus they got a 96% passing rate and great prices...85/hr wet rate for 172N and 172P.
