Lame! Thing didn't even register a crash. 
Actually I got a chance to try the Gimli Glider scenario in the sim pretty recently. Both flamed out about 3 miles from the airport at 10,000'. Managed to put it on the ground, albeit came across the fence at about 210 knots. Just don't do what I did and grab the boards out at 200'...the ensuing sink rate makes it easy to drag the tail.

Not of fan of their reaction... I guess it was a just for fun sim, but they seemed to be flying fairly well up to that point, so some training beforehand. Where is the instructor simulating evacuation calls?

No idea, but both Brown and Purple have MD-11 sims at ANC, which is where they were landing at in the video.
After watching the vid again it looks like an ALPA lanyard on the guy in the right seat, so probably FedEx. I could be wrong.
No comment ....however this was a father son "fun flight" in the sim.
