Every airport I’ve been badged at has made it very clear that nobody is allowed to work unescorted or unbadged within the SIDA (and especially) sterile areas and if in doubt to challenge, or if you feel unsafe to call airport police. Can’t be too cautious. I’m sure every supplemental security screener has a proper SIDA badge…the federal government certainly wouldn’t send people without a plan. But again, just can’t risk anything.
