Lloyd is sucks here right now. I am about 15 miles south of the ATL VOR and its raining heavy. No lightening though in about 2 hours........

I flew Charlotte-Mobile today. Even though we had radar there was so much rain that it didn't show anything other then brown on the screen. Bumpy as heck and lighting all over the plus. We flew a modified instrument overhead to avoid some cells on the finals. Nothing like dropping doing a 180 reversal over the field and around to the FAF to pick up the ILS with 60 knots of wind coming from the west.

I was goin ATL to PMU right around that time. turbulence was so bad at one spot I bit my tongue

Lloyd don't you wish you had air conditioning and some radar? Or maybe even a second engine? I know you could use a second engine, call me when you want one!

Godspeed fellas...it's finally settled down out here (no hurricanes, trop deps, etc.) and looks good for the next couple of months. Please be careful and I kinda wish I was getting the experience but that will come in a couple of months when I move back to the mainland and give up my flyin' doublewide. Buckle up!

Stop chewing your tongue then!!:insane: :) I wonder if we bought a mouthpiece to protect our grill, would the IRS frown on it as a business expense?;) :yar:
