Serious, whats up with all the cancelations and delays? drives me nutts trying to commute sometimes. I think its the only place with CRJ-900's certified VFR-day only. ggrrrrrr!

1) Jonathan Ornstein is ultimately in charge of it.

2) It's part of MAG.

3) It's understaffed.

That's a good enough start. Sucks for you and all the fare-paying pax, though.

But according to the management there, they're meeting their completion goals for Delta. RIIIIIGGGHT.

They musn't forget they're not the only subcontractor to Delta - thank goodness. They make the rest of us look beautiful.

Nevertheless. . .going on two weeks since the fall below $1. .57 today

I hope guys are getting the hell out of there while they still can. . .if they can even find work now.

If I thought they had any hope of bouncing back, I might actually buy some of that stock. Seeing as I don't think they have a prayer, I'd rather spend my $57 on vanilla pudding rather than 100 shares. Probably get a better ROI, too. :)

When they default on that debt payment in June, it might be lights out.

They're already defaulting on payments to small town airports for ramp space, etc.

Bummer. . .get out get out!

Oh man. What's gonna happen is a crew is gonna show up early in the morning from an overnight and find out they're locked out of the airplane with the sheriff standing there saying 'You ain't takin' dis thang no where.'

If Mesa goes bk, living under an approach path my complex would be alot quieter.

No longer would I see 900's zipping by at maybe 3k. No, the only whistling sound would be from Airbi's, and the local crack #####s asking me for a cheeseburger, and exclaiming what they do to me for said cheesebuger!

I HAZ CHEEZBURGER

MANZ, I'LL (censored)

Isn't there some rumors out there that Delta is trying to dump Mesa?

Not really a rumor. It's a fact Delta is trying to cancel Mesa's 50 seat contract based on performance numbers. Mesa has an injunction filed in court while they circle the legal wagons and try to save the sinking ship. Let's see if I can toss some more cliches in there.....

Over on APC it is said that the lawsuit is not actually in existence....

According to Associated Press, the lawsuit was filed on 4/7/08, and it's backed by a host of other news sources. Ornstein even mentioned it during the shareholders conference call last week.

Other info on that call is they want to try to sell shares in order to make a $38 million bond payment coming up. At their current share price, it's gonna take a LOT of shares to pay that off. They also mentioned selling their spare parts inventory. That alone would send up red flags to me.

No, no one can find the lawsuit MESA filed against Delta. A buddy of mine just upgraded on the 145 on the Freedom side. He's worried too. At least he got a type out of it.

Yeah that's funny, since they don't have enough spares to fix the Mount Everrest size amount of MELs. You should see how many mx cancellations they get. Now it's bitting them in the azz! I bitched and complained about it while I was there, but the kool-aide drinkers in management didn't want to hear it.
