So, when a failure alarm starts beeping in the cockpit, are you supposed to communicate, "fries are done" and then silence the alarm?

Is or just me or does it seem like McDonalds is hiring pilots quite often?

My buddy flies a global for them and is going to 605 school next week. They like lower time guys with to without types, but networking is key, really key for this one.

What does "low-time" mean in this particular instance? I assume you mean low time compared with typical corporate gigs, something like ~2,000 hours?

"A first officer should have 1500 hrs and 500 in multiengine jets. These minimums are not absolute—for Kostas, finding a candidate whose ethics and personality fit the department is more important than total hours in a log book." - Quoted from a ProPilotMag article on the flight department.

I would second that opinion. My buddy really played it cool for about 3 years. Stopped by so often, slowly found out about them, and only asked about getting a job there once. And due to some super duper luck, they asked him to join the team. But he knows that the short list has been made and they all have an internal rec. but he said, 3 years ago when they hired, they had like a thousand people, that number has gone down. So that is good news.
