We're having the Red Star Pilots Accosiation fly-in here at GED this weekend and the main focus of the event is formation flying so the pilots of the 20 some Yaks/Nanchangs and a T-6 (hopefully a P-51 or two this weekend) have been doing three or four flights a day. The backseats are almost always open and when I'm not busy helping out I'm aloud to ride along. The Yaks go out in flights of four and do basic things like breaks and re-forming and a couple easy aerobatic manuvers. Well I figured I'd try to take a video of take off and here it is. I got a couple pictures but I'm too lazy to upload them to another site so just look at the link below to see them. It was hazy so they're not the best quality.
