So I've always wanted to have a career in aviation since I was a little boy. With a little help from my family, I recently got a loan and im begining my PPR within the month and have transfered to Metro State College of Denver to join their aviation program. It seems like my dream is finally in motion and I can't be happier.

Just keep moving forward. Don't worry about the news too much one way or the other. Always strive to leave a good impression as you work your way up. Don't compromise your integrity too much. Have fun.

Good luck with the persuit of your dream. Try to keep your emotions level. You will find that there will be many changes to the industry before you are ready to join it professionally.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Study hard and network, network, network. You will find some of the best job information from friends and acquaintances. I belive Doug worked at an FBO in his early days and handed out business cards to everyone he met. I also worked at an FBO while in flight school and was able to get interviews and lot of info from the pilots I met. I was also allowed to get some valuable jumpseat time on check flights when the planes came out of paint or mx.

Good luck with the career and don't give up.
