FYI the company HQ's is in MKE but they have many many bases across the US. Don't expect to be based in MKE.

of course the ad didnt state that but good important info

yeah, I subscribe to the "know everything you can" approach :).

On the website there is a route map (if pdf format), black circles are the bases I believe. It's actually changed quite a bit in the last 2 years after the DHL shakeup.

A friend of mine has a friend at ACC, I met him. Nice guy, he was 22 years old at the time with 500 TPIC (captain). No ATP required to fly that 26,000# plane.

Cool....I get an email from Riddle's career services and this listing were on there. They had plenty of job for guys with 2500 tt plus but I just listed more of the entry ones.

Is this the one from jon merwin? Or another? Who does it come from? I'd like to sign up for it.

I have a friend in VA that flies MD-11s for UPS. He refered me to ACC a while back. Said they have always hired with relatively low times and wasn't a bad company to work for.

Want to put on gloves an a back brace and help load and unload the big ass Shorts 360? Be a pilot for Air Cargo Carriers!

Maybe. I hear that you upgrade in about six months and can be making anywhere from the mid-40's to 60 grand a year though.

I know two people who fly/have flown for ACC and both highly recommended it. One left for another regional before upgrading, and the other upgraded in about 8 months, FWIW.

Yeah, that can put stress on a relationship when they can't let go of the past.

Oh, wait, I think I misread you here, bro!

The past can make you appreciate the present and future also.....I love the fact that I dont load bags or am a transfer driver......makes me love the job I do know....I am much dryer when it rains, warm when cold outside, and cool when hot outside. There is no other job at the airlines like being a ramp rat.....Steve can vouch for that

Just took this off the website. Maybe it gives a little more insight into bases?!

Some of the base cities include: Beckley, WV; Burlington, VT; Charleston, WV;
Charlottesville, VA; Fresno, CA; Grand Rapids, MI; Huntsville, AL; Iron MT, MI; Marion, IL; Peoria, IL; Myrtle Beach, SC; Raleigh/Durham, NC; Reno, NV; Scranton, PA; Sioux Falls, SD; Warsaw, IN

Are they usually year-round hirings at this place or just every now and again. And this may be a stupid question but don't burn me too hard.... Is it turbine time or just multi?
