Not GPWS, but TAWS...Looks interesting. Just got to the first commercial break and, uh... is there any kind of equipment you could put in a C180 that does a GPWS Terrain callout?

Aww hell, that show was interesting for the first 5 episodes. Then it became all about the "Which ramper gets the right seat" drama, followed by stretching 15 minutes of content into a 50 minute block of TV.

The way the Wing Men is produced is kind of a turn off. As several mentioned in the other thread there are inconsistencies; there are scenes where the aircraft will magically change from an Otter into a Beaver and they overdub the sound of piston engine over a turbine. Maybe most people wont notice those kinds of things but it just comes off as lazy. I thought Flying Wild was much better overall in terms of content and production value. Plus that guys daughter is kind of cute.

Yeah I have already grown bored of the Alaska Wing Men show. How could they not think that pilots would be a large part of the audience? One minute the Otter is piston and the next it is turbine. They also use the some of the same footage over and over...And in different episodes. Very poor job.

If this is the one on History, I ended up turning it off and going to sleep. I love how they try to make a go around in a 182 look like a life and death situation.
