Flying time?

I have heard alot of people talking about living out of a briefcase when you fly. My question is what is it REALLY like?


For the average regional pilot, what kind of schedual can be expected?

Days on and days off? Are your days off most likely together? And are your days off REALLY off?

A briefcase? Man that's travelling light!

It is really, really exciting for about 3 months. Then you start wanting to go home.
