Flying Club of Sao Paulo, Brazil

I just moved from Rio de Janerio to Sao Paulo, Brazil. I went to sign up at the local flying club in order to rent their planes. The Club here in Sao Paulo is at the main GA airport, called Campo de Marte (built in 1919, one of the first airports of Brazil) just south of the main International one (GRU). The school/club is made of 3 big WWII era style hangars, one of them has been turned into a bar/restaurant with a cool patio area that overlooks the runway and the city skyline.

The Brahma Black is suuuuuuuuuuuuch a good beer! Much jealousy!

Yeah it is, but it`s not cheap at ~ 6 reais. The restaurant there is pretty good too, feels like a Brazilian version of the Cheesecake Factory...

That plate was actually my gfs one, I had a picanha burger.

Rates at the flight school are pretty good compared to what I have seen in other places

The Aeroboero goes for 130 $ dual, The PA28-140 180 $ dual, The PA28-181 just over 200 $ and the PA28R-200T 313 $ dual....
