Actually, I was walking out to the hotel shuttle with one of my buddies and I some guy I couldn't identify kept shouting my name.

Turns out it was Fly22!

Yeah, I understand Doug. That guy is kind of a wack job.

I've never met or even seen the guy before. I really thought there was a mistake and kept walking!

Nah, I've learned to deal with the public and carry mace!

Honestly, I felt guilty because Kristie and I were such zombies after dragging ourselves thru Buckingham palace that afternoon.

Kristie: "Can we leave?"
Doug: "Yeah, let's bolt."
Attendant: "Have you seen the Queen's royal tea set yet?"
Doug: "No."
Attendant: "Mind the queue! You MUST see the Queen's royal tea set..."

Grrr...

Well you have to see the Royal Tea Set - you have not seen London if you have not seen the Royal Tea Set.

Or the royal silverware.

Good lord, I can't see how you Brits put up with that stuff!

It does not really bother me - I am not too interested in them. They must be a good bunch though - they play polo!

Good bunch?

[jest]
YOU play polo, Iain! That makes me suspicious!

Iain - is that the horse you're looking at? Me like...that is one nice looking equine!

What is this royal table set I must see... I'll be there in a month.

If it's inside Buckingham Palace you won't see it. The Palace is only open to the public during parts of August-September.

You'll have a great time. I was actually there this morning (and the previous 5 days). ZZZzzzz....jetlag...sleepy...

Yeah - I could not think of anything for a new aviator, and had just been sent that picture. I rode her tonight, and she went very well. She had not been ridden in a month so she was a bit fresh, and a bit of a handful, but overall I was quite impressed. She is certainly a good looking horse!!!

I have not really done the hardcore touristy things in England (living there for 13 years, those places just do not appeal to you). I would spend a weekend in the country - I would recommend Buckingham (in Buckinghamshire) I went to University there, and it is a great English town! Definately spend a day at Stowe House, that is way better then Buckingham palace - the gardens at this time of year are something else!

Sorry, Iain, but with all the Olsen twins jokes you had it coming!!

In just a few months, the Olsen twins will be old enough for us!

Woo hoo!

Well, legally, anyway.
