I seem to remember hearing about this place before on the forum. Pretty sure its scam. Someone told me they wanted like 2500 bucks from u up front to get "checked out" or something. Stay far far away.

I was ripped off by one of these 'types' of companies back in '03 in Daytona Beach, not this one specifically. I urge anyone who follows up on this to be very, very cautious.

I got a call from the guy. Did my research and it sounds like exactly the same scam from Daytona. Wants $2500 to get a "banner towing endorsement," which doesn't exist to my knowledge. I asked how much I would be flying and he responded with: "you're willing to do work around the airport, right?" He asked what I expected to be making and I said $2000/month (a small increase from what I make now). He responded "that's negotiable."

No clear answers, fed me BS about the endorsement, insane training cost which likely can't be paid off in a year of working there if you have bills and loans to deal with. I don't think this is worth looking into.

I go with everyone else on this and it sounds shady...

If your interested in playing Russian roulette with gravity and physics by banner towering theres two operators in HWO to look into, Bobbys Landing/Aerial Banners and Van Wagner Aerial Media. VWAM pays better and has more travel... my old roomate worked at Bobbys, the owner is crazy but its quite a party over there. You get lots of tailwheel time at either.

I should also point out that I'm currently TDY for my current flying gig here at PIE and theres no banner towing going at all that I've seen, I'm pretty sure they don't pick at SPG either. I know the previous two operators mentioned above do tow this way seasonally but niether is based here, and like I said I haven't seen any banner towing here the past month I've been here.

Probably scam.
