Flight Simulator Accessories

I posted this on Jetgirls, but thought I'd popped over here and ask you guys too. We're looking for flight simulator accessories for our teenage son. We have the joystick that he uses with MSFS, but are looking for the yoke, throttles, and rudder pedals. I can't find them locally and am a little hesitant to order from a company online that I know nothing about. We're still having difficulty getting reimbursed from something that we had to return to Amazon. Has anyone ordered these before and recommend the company that you used?

Thanks!
Wanda

I think Sportys sells them, and I wouldn't hesitate buying anything from them. On the other hand I have a CH yoke and rudder set that I'm trying to get rid off. :)

Making jhugz an offer on his stuff is probably your best bet, cost wise. I've owned the CH products before and they're def usable. It looks like the Saitek stuff on Sportys gets better reviews though. Either way you can't really go wrong.

I was at Fry's yesterday and they have a TON of stuff. Fake AIs, radio stacks, throttle quadrants, rudder pedals... you name it. It ain't cheap, but then, it's always been a middle aged armchair jockey's hobby.

Just my 2 cents:

I bought a set of Saitek rudder pedal/yoke/throttle quadrant from Amazon about 10 months ago.
The rudder pedals quit working after a week or so. Amazon replaced them in 48 hours -no questions asked-. Personally, I never had a negative experience with Amazon, and I prefer to buy from them due to their good customer service, but that's just me.
I'm Ok with the overall performance and quality of the parts, but sometimes I run into some minor glitches..(connectivity, calibration and such...).
I would probably buy Saitek again if I had to.

Thanks everyone for your replies! I ordered the Saitek yoke and throttle set. Decided to wait on the rudder pedals. Unfortunately, Sporty's was out of stock. I found a set on Dell.com, and they were out of stock as well. I finally ordered a set at fspilotshop.com, which was the same price as Sporty's. Amazon was $130 more for the same set.

Thanks again!
