Flight school ground lease in Ft Pierce

I was at my realtor's office a minute ago looking for some new ground lease ideas in SW Florida and knowing I was a pilot he passed along an interesting, particular flight school with a ground lease for sale in Ft Pierce for a larger 7 figure sum. Looks like you're buying just the land, bldgs, etc, not the school and its operations and they lease it (land, etc) from you, but not sure. Anybody else know anything? Definately not in the market for a flight school ground lease (there's another one in Broward Co.; I think the whole school is for sale), just curious what the deal was (ie. needed more capital).
 
It's likely the old Pan Am Academy grounds. They've still got it, Aviator's the only place that could really use it, and for whatever reason they never closed the deal.
 
I took a visit to Aviator about 2 weeks ago..the owner said they were getting the Pan Am housing complex on the airport...other than Aviator, there is only a small FBO at Ft Pierce

So your probably dealing with Pan Am grounds since they are no longer in business...either that or Aviator is struggling and trying to get up and leave

Hey Charlie, I'm a week and a half into it, should do my Multi-private Check next week

The PA academy is probably it. Rumor has it, two months from now (or sooner) Aviator will be in the building.
