FCI Fredericksburg, Texas:<BR /><p><strong>Flight Crew International &ldquo;FCI&rdquo; is seeking an ambitious Scheduler / Dispatcher to join our team supporting an established, stable, and growing company in the Fredericksburg, Texas area.</strong></p> <p>The Dispatcher/Scheduler dispatches and coordinates crew, catering, ground transportation, and other flight logistics daily as flights arise. The highest priority is safety of flights and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong integrity, be a self-starter, and have excellent communication skills. We are seeking someone who has a strong desire to expand their skill sets on the job and is looking to become part of a committed and growing work family.</p> <p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Schedules flights in accordance with established company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Conduct pre-flight scheduling duties including but not limited to: organizing the right crew members for the trip, arranging positioning travel if needed, ensuring ground transportation and catering is in order for the trip, etc.</li> <li>Stay engaged throughout the duration of each trip to ensure rental cars, catering issues, etc. are handled in real time as well as any other issues that may arise.</li> <li>Apply corrective action to minimize actual or potential delays due to weather, aircraft maintenance, operations, crew legality, or other disruptions.</li> <li>Advises appropriate company personnel of actual or potential delays and conditions affecting the safety of a flight, including situations with weather, regulatory flight restrictions or scheduling.</li> <li>Complies with all applicable health and safety regulations.</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 2 years of Part 91/135 scheduling/dispatching experience; training will be provided.</li> <li>FBO CSR’s, line service technicians, and other related experience is desired.</li> <li>High school diploma at minimum; 2-year or 4-year college degree preferred.</li> <li>Applicants with Experience in Part 121, Part 135, and/or international flight operations will be given preference.</li> <li>This will initially be more of an individual contributor position but will work closely with the flight planning team and will be afforded opportunities to do more within the organization during times when regular scheduling duties are slow.</li> <li>Must be comfortable providing white glove service and must be polished in communications with VIP clients and C-suite executives.</li> <li>Must be able to shift gears quickly and be comfortable working within a rapidly changing demands environment.</li> <li>Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Location &amp; Benefits</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Qualified candidates will ideally live within a reasonable commute of Fredericksburg, TX or be willing to relocate to the area if offered this position. There will be a work-from-home transition time in the beginning for the right candidate, immediate relocation is not required.</li> <li>Aviation is a 24/7/365 industry, there will be some nights and weekend flights to dispatch, however, this is typically a Monday through Friday business hours position.
