Flight Safety PCAS

I am interested in applying for the Pilot Career Achievement Strategy with Flight Safety Academy. Basically, Flight Safety Academy pays for all you CFI ratings (CFI, CFII, and MEI) in exchange for a 2 year contract working for them as an instructor. I was wondering if anybody has gone through this program, and if so did they like it? Is Flight Safety Academy a good school? What is the pay for CFIs? And lastly, what is a reasonable amount of time to go from 250 hours to 1,000 hours instructing, is 2 years too long instructing? Thanks for the help!

Dont know FSA personally but 2 years is a long time of poverty wages, poor QOL that comes with pilot mils, students with poor english and the CFI burnout which will occur after about 12 months. Unfortunately its the only way in this day and age to get hours in a reasonable amount of time. If I were you id pay to get my CFI somewhere, teach there and then get the rest while working there. Id look at university flight schools, pay and QOL are usually better IMO.

I didnt do that program, but I did instruct there for a year back in 07-08. I likes the facility and the aircraft and we had a good group of instructors and students when I was there.
